Advise on fixing a problem or live with it

I stained this quarter sawn white oak with a powdered walnut stain water base. I think I let me fingers rub across the face and didn't catch it. I think those are my finger lines. I'm not sure how to go back and blend it since it has dried or better to live with it vs making it worse?
    Thanks.

Brian, water based dyes have no binder, this means a wet rag (with distilled water) can be used to remove or blend the dye. Hope this helps
