Heart of OH, 3 for .JPG
Nothing real special...about $12 + tax..the one with the pencil appears to be brass...

    Then..
Urbana, The Boston, back room 1.JPG
Sitting there on the top shelf, trying to hide...price tag said $65 + Sales Tax....picked it up to look it over,,,and could not set it back down...so
    THe Boston, Back Room, Forcastle.JPG
    A look at the Forcastle....and...
The Boston, Back Room, groovy, man.JPG
    Has a groovy sole...and..
The Boston, Back Room, Le Frog.JPG
Well, it IS a Type 19, after all....Number?
The Boston, Back Room, stern number.JPG
Takes up half of the table...almost..
    The Boston, Back Room, No.8c.JPG
Stanley No. 8c, Type 19. For $69 and change? Sound better than either of these two...
    Heart of OH, No. 7c.JPG
The one in front is a No. 7c...$135+tax...the one behind it is also a newer No.7 at $150....decided to pas on these two...

    Heart of OH, plane til.JPG
    This one looked nice..
Heart of OH, match plane 2, RJ drill box.JPG
Except it was missing a cutter...
Heart of OH, match planes 1.JPG
Well, that is one way to keep a Match Plane set together..
Heart of OH, rack of tools 2.JPG
A shelf of mostly wooden Molding planes...
    Heart of OH, snaggle tooth.JPG
Sometimes, they even have the correct cutters in them....

    Then...
    Urbana Man Cave, the Boston.JPG
Room was billed as a "Man Cave"....this was the only tools to be seen...
    Urbana Man Cave, details.JPG
And that rusty No. 101 was $25? Not.

    Fettling: No.8c had "issues"
    Stanley No.8c, bad bolt.JPG
Bolt had a burr that needed ground off...and..
    Stanley No.8c, big burr.JPG
The lever cap also had a large burr...between the two of them...you HAD to remove the bolt before the lever cap would come off....got that fixed...

    Iron was a different story...
    Stanley No.8c, pits.JPG
Not the best look? Ground back until...
    Stanley No.8c, no mo pits.JPG
The pits had left the building..then over to the new H-F Disc/Belt sander....and a glass of water...ground a new bevel, using what was left of the old one as a guide...enough to get to the stones..
    Stanley No.8c, coarse Crytolon.JPG
From a coarse Crystolon up to a 600 grit Medium India,,,then the 1500 grit wet or dry, then the 2000 grit wet or dry....then..
    Stanley No.8c, strop time.JPG
Finished up on the leather belt and green stick strop...then a couple test drives, to set things up again..was a little deep..
    Stanley No.8c, final test drive.JPG
Busy day, I also worked on the other 2 planes sitting there....Millers Falls No.9, Type 2...and the Sargent No.3416 Jack plane...

    Sargent 3416, test drive.JPG
    Which is a Cambered Jack....

Back of right knee was saying it was quitting time...

Geez, I wish I had the selection to pick from that you do. Everything here lately has been dried up and expensive.
