WTB: Yankee 2100/2101 brace with 14" sweep

Hey, I'm looking to buy a Yankee 2100/2101 brace with 14" sweep in perfect working condition and near perfect and up cosmetic condition.

would appreciate it if anyone has one, or a lead on one.

    Thanks.

Consider the Millers Falls braces as well, in particular the Holdall chucks. Browse the Jim Bode or contact him directly.

    I already have. I can't find anything with a 14" sweep

I already own the 2101 in a 10" and love it (I got it from Jim Bode)

    I love the 2101's... I have several and I can't find a 12 or 14 for tryin'. So I feel your pain!

honestly I bought from him before, and I was less than thrilled.
he wasn't dishonest or anything but he and I have different description for "minty" condition
(and I freely admit to having very high standards)

A 2100 just sold on eBay for $160. Seller claimed it was 14, but from the photos it looked more like a 10 (I have a 10 and 12). The only photo that showed the 2100 + size imprint on the frame was not clear while all the others were very sharp. Not implying that the seller was purposely deceiving; the measurement may have been lengthwise rather than sweep. As recently discussed in another thread, caveat emptor when buying on eBay.

I may have a 14" 2100, I'll check tonight when I get home from work.

    Assaf,

    http://sydnassloot.com/

If you click on the Brace collection link you will find a plethora of information, including a history and extensive details about North Bros. Sandy Moss has not updated the site since April, 2020. I emailed him, and queried about his well-being on this and other woodworking sites to no avail. Hoping he is okay.
