    According to Paul Sellers..the last batch of those chisels sold at Aldi's was...very bad..quite different than the first few batches....so, he thinks Aldi's has stopped.

    However...the last time I was in Harbor Freight...they did have plenty of the wood handled chisel sets...

    I seem to recall having a set of those Marples Ridgway a dozen or so years ago, and that they never seemed to hold an edge very long. They definitely were not as good as my blue plastic handled Marples. I eventually gave them away I think. I did have a single ash handled regular Marples chisel that worked well, so maybe it was just the Ridgway version that wasn't so great.

    How many can you identify? (Blue Handle is a Stanley #5002...just for starters) These are MY users...
