Where do you 'store' your rip fence?

In the old shop, I had an open, hastily built storage area under my extension table. I had a place (see picture) to store my rip fence. I made a point to put it there when the rip fence wasn't in use. I liked having it out of the way, so I could use the entire surface, and lessen the chance of hitting it with something.

I'm rethinking everything in my new shop. I might want drawers under the extension table to keep dust off my accessories. That would be hard to incorporate fence storage. And either I'm getting older, or that fence is getting heavier.

Do you leave your rip fence on the table when not in use? Of have a place to keep it that doesn't require bending down?

I hang my bandsaw rip fence on a couple of pegs on a pegboard on a nearby wall when not in use. I almost never use the tablesaw without using the rip fence at the same time, so it stays on the saw and when I occasionally don't want it I slide it over to the right far enough to be out of the way of what I'm doing.

My bandsaw fence stays on the bandsaw conveniently out of the way. My TS fence stores a on holder attached to the legs or slid to the far right of the table until needed.

I just push it out of the way. On the rare occasions when it has to be removed, it gets set on whatever flat surface is available, then goes back on the saw. The fence on the sawstop sliding crosscut table is more often in the way, and it gets stored on purpose made blocks that hold it off the floor under the sliding table itself.

I put drawers under the side table and now really couldn't give them up.

I have a cleat wall behind the saw and perpendicular to it. A lot of my awkward tablesaw and router table jigs hang here. I realized I could just re-position a couple of the pegs and presto; fence station ;-)

A couple of dowels set into a block screwed to whatever is near by could serve as well.

I made a holster for it on the side of the tablesaw’s base. The fence just slides in or out.

Thanks for the ideas so far.

I don't have a crosscut sled, or any other large table saw jig. But if I add something, the wall hangers would sure be useful.
