Unfortunately John Clarke passed away some time ago and there will be no more of his biting wit. There is a simply awesome series he and John Dawes did sending up the preparation for the Sydney Olympic games and it is simply stunning in how they send up every aspect of it. He was a New Zealander who lived most of his life in Australia to our benefit but in his early NZ days he did a series of short videos playing a character called Fred Dag. Kiwis and Ozzies get it and I can understand if others don't but it is well worth having a look in any case. Fred Dag was also done as audio if anyone wants to search that out and the audio is where I first came across him, he painted a picture in words few other people could do.
