Thread: External Air Relief Valve, for a Turbinaire MiniPro?

External Air Relief Valve, for a Turbinaire MiniPro?

I'm trying to find an external Air Relief Valve, for a Turbinaire MiniPro, so I can use my non-bleeder Accuspray 10 gun with this 3-stage turbine.

Looking for ideas, as the original is impossible to find.

Apollo makes the A7538A, but it has 3/4" threads and is specifically described as not compatible with the MiniPro turbine. (of course....)

I'm not sure how to measure connectors, (To the outside of the threads?) but I THINK the MiniPro has 7/8". Does anyone know for sure?

And then, can I just buy a heavy thread-adapter, and use the Apollo? (I'd also need to know the thread count)

Or maybe, somehow replace the Turbine's threaded outlet, with a 3/4" one?

    ---------------------

Also: My 3-stage turbine is extremely marginal for the heavy stuff I'm about to spray. (Multispec latex) but it's all I have. So maximizing pressure is important.
When I use the relief valve, I assume that this will cost me some precious pressure at the gun.

So, how do I determine how much "relief" is enough, without being too much?

    Thx.
