I finished spraying some cabinet doors with Benjamin Moore Cabinet Coat and while I’m very happy with the finish I’m trying to figure out how to get some stubborn dust nibs out of the final coat. Warrants mentioning that my finish is a very low sheen satin that I’d like to keep that way. So far I’ve tried rubbing with a paper bag which minimally helped. I also tried 1000 grit paper which left a bit of marring when looking up close. When I chased the marring I went with my RO polisher with Meguiars 105 on an orange pad which got most of the marring out but basically made the finish a gloss. Any suggestions on getting these final nibs out without changing the sheen or adding marring?
