    Chopping a few mortices

    All tenons go most of the way thru the legs for maximum strength

    I drill out most of the waste because the drill press establishes the depth and makes it easier to chop out the mortice

    The lower stretcher tenons would interfere so they use a buried box joint

    Since there will be drawers at the top the tenons do not interfere

    I'll post a plan and build thread next year.

    Looks great, Tom. Also looks like you got some nice Purple Heart…seems to be holding its color well. Darn splintery stuff, though. Used up any bandaids yet! Look forward to the build thread.
