    Removing adhesive residue off a surface without damaging it is one of the few things that WD40 does well. Another use is cleaning the coffee pot, but it is not recommend as extreme regularity is a undesired side effect, that really happened at a former employer before I worked there, but thankfully I don't drink coffee.

    heat gone worked well. Fair bit of goo left. On the labels WD did zero. Will try it on some of the glue, Past ive had pure mineral spirits work pretty well.

    I've always had good luck using lighter fluid to remove adhesive.
