    Durable paint for shop cabinets?

I am finishing out my shop cabinet build and looking for some durable paint. I built a router table cart a few years ago and sprayed it with BM Advance (cabinet grade paint). It looks terrible now with chips all over it. Should I be looking for a lacquer or epoxy based paint? What other options are there?

I still like Fixall paint. Been around a real long time. Best flow-to-flat no brush mark paint I’ve used. High gloss .

    Advance is pretty durable stuff...

Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane trim paint could be your ticket, although it's along the same idea as Advance. It's waterborne, durable for both indoor and outdoor use, etc., but like any similar product, you need to let it fully cure before it provides maximum performance.

Rustoleum oil based is pretty much the same thing used on older machinery for decades.
My granddad always said, :As one door closes, another opens".
    Wonderful man, terrible cabinet maker...
