    Excellent wood tech book !!

I have the Hoadley book among others, but just learned about this other "Must Have" linked below.

Click on the link and look through the very different chapters.. Amazing.

I found this informative - "Chapter 12 -- Drying and Control of Moisture Content and Dimensional Changes (PDF 1.3 MB)

    Determination of Moisture Content
    Recommended Moisture Content
    Drying of Wood
Moisture Control During Transit and Storage
    Dimensional Changes in Wood
    Design Factors Affecting Dimensional Change
Wood Care and Installation During Construction"

Readable online, AND readily available on the online used book market such as Amazon, etc for as low as like $10.

    Look into it, Marc

I'm pretty new here, not as as experienced as most. Please don't hesitate to correct me

    Thanks, looks interesting.

(The whole-book PDF has the notation "CAUTION! This is a very large file.". YMMV, but 14MB hasn't qualified as "very large" since the turn of the century.)

"Design"? Possibly. "Intelligent"? Sure doesn't look like it from this angle.
