    Heater for dehumidification kiln

I built a dehumidification kiln to dry out some poplar 2x4s for my new shop. I have it ready to start the dehumidification stage.

However I want to heat it up to kill any bugs etc. I have seen oil filled heaters recommended. I have a infrared eden pure style heater, would that work? Or should I buy a oil filled heater?

    I have something like this

Any heater will work but heaters that operate at high temperature are a safety hazard. Also, you don't want any heater with electronic controls as they won't survive at 140 F for long. The heater you have also has a high temperature cutout feature which you likely would have to bypass.

Thanks, I have ordered a high temp thermostat, I will be wiring that directly to the heater, going around the controls.
