Thanks to the Lee Valley Seconds sale, I need to clear out some planes. Up for sale:
SOLD (Pending Payment) Lie-Nielsen Bronze #4. Good “user”. I say user only because the tote has been repaired and because the tote finish has a couple of imperfections in the varnish. Otherwise, fully functional and a great plane. With O1 blade _plus_ and extra O1 blade (O1 blades are not currently made). Lie Neilsen is not currently taking backorders. Retail with extra blade $390 plus shipping, ebay buy it now price price ~ $7,950 (that’s a joke folks). SMC price: $330 shipped to US addresses.
ECE Primus smoother w/ lignum vitae sole. Vintage: made in W. Germany. Small chip in throat. Nice plane, needs new home. Retail $250, SMC price: $150 shipped to US addresses.
Stanley #7 Type F (Frankenplane). Good user w/ PMV 11 replacement blade and chipbreaker ($80). The warts: Front knob is cracked but does not affect function. Way less than perfect japanning. And honestly, the depth adjuster is a bit fiddly. But the plane is a good one, the blade set up is a delight and it is very capable of good work (have used it on most of the projects I’ve posted here the last 5-6 years). $170 shipped to US addresses.
Thanks for looking, let me know if you have questions.
