    2" rabbit on shaper

Want to cut a 2" x 1/2" rebate & tennon on my shaper. Don't have a stub spindle. Biggest rebate head I have cuts up to 1 1/2" Looking for recommendation on a head that will cut a full 2" thanks!

    Look into a 7" or 8" (200mm) groover? Assuming 1 1/4 or 30mm spindle. That'd get you 2"

I've had good luck with the Amana groovers as suggested by Mark. I don't think the rebate heads will go 2" deep. You could do multiple passes with a groover.

I'm not sure, but perhaps you can get a head which allows you to pass material over the top of it, then you can cut tenons of any length, if gradually. Something like:

I'm not seeing anything large enough in Dia. from Amana.

that would be nice, but I'm not sure running that on the top of a 7" tall spindle is a good idea.

I would use dados on saw for both operations, if I’m understanding Op question correctly. For a big bunch I might have to do something
    a faster way.

Jim I was just using my Amana groover at the shop. It is a 180 mm and I can get about 2 1/8'' with it.
