    Carpet Chair Glides

What is the best glide for a wooden chair that will be on carpet?

    Thanks.

I wouldn't put a glide on a wood chair on carpet. I'd cut the tip of the leg so that it sits flat to the floor, sand it so it slides smoothly, and ease the edge so it doesn't snag on the carpet threads. No extra parts needed.

    Swivel casters?
That's what I have on the seat I'm sitting at my computer desk in.

Basically, you want hard, smooth, and rounded ends on legs that will sit on a carpet and soft ends that will sit on a hard smooth floor. Hart ends on a hard floor will cause scratches in the floor when they slide over granules of dirt. A soft end on carpet will not slide when you want to move it.
