These are probably .25/pc high end, but they want $3 each and freight. Any idea what these are really called or where else to source them? thanks brian

They look like hose clamps, cut once, and hooks formed at the ends. I've never seen them, but perhaps you could make them yourself.
The ones you linked to are stainless steel, so they're going to be more expensive than ordinary steel.
I had one bend and my repair never held, so I went down this path also. +1 on making your own, but hardware-store SS ones I tried had lousy metallurgy (kept breaking at these extreme ‘hook’ angles). … maybe some heat? But I lost patience. Life is too short.
You could throw ‘worm drive’ in with ‘hose clamp’ for a search term, but Wynn is only source I found.
I don't visit SMC much, but just saw your post. The little nibs on the Wynn Environmental clamps tend to be unforgiving with frequent use and will break. I broke most of the clamps that came with my filters and replaced them with modified Jubilee clamps that I bought from my local hardware store. These clamps work perfectly and I haven't had any problems with them. If you want or need the smaller nibs at the end, then plan the cut accordingly and remove the center section of the clamp band.
Here is a random image of a Jubilee clamp showing where it can be cut and bent to suit your needs.
Here is an image of the inside of my filter housing showing the modified Jubiliee clamps in use. I can use more force with these modified clamps to ensure the rubber gasket is sealing properly.
Mike: I had to replace my canister filter on my JDS Cyclone and used the gamma lid design to retrofit a Wynn filter to the unit, and it works good. I just shortened the clamp and put the clear dust collection bag on the bottom the the new filter, but was thinking to put a gamma lid on the bottom with a bucket attached and I need the clamps to hold the gamma lid onto the bottom of the filter. Not much weight or use, so I will just make some. I would rather buy them, but $3 a piece plus freight is really expensive for what they are so... Brian

We needs us a “like” button.
I like the jubilee clamp mod.

It seems like something similar to this would be a lot easier to deal with.

Hose clamps have gone down in quality so much, that I use the t-bolt style more, and more. They cover a very small range though.
