I am Looking for designs for coffee and end tables that uses Mortise and Tennon joints. Rustic Style.

I have never made either. So I want to lock in on a design and build:

(1) Test joints using really cheap wood
(2) 1st try completed table using a really cheap wood and donate that somewhere
(3) And then build the set with some very nice wood like walnut, mahogany, or even something more exotic (I love zebra wood accented w Mahogany) .

This is a skill development project also.

I have always liked rustic "man-cave" furniture.

I have no issue buying plans if reasonable priced. Obviously free is good too.

If anyone can birddog me into a set of plans, I would be grateful.

PS - Birddog is a technical term used by bird hunters like myself - it means point. But you knew that, right? :-)

PSS - I have a decent shop I have been building over the last 14 years that has the normal "want-to-be" serious wood worker stuff. 230 V Bandsaw, 230 V table saw, chop saw, tenon jig for the table saw, mortise machine, Dewalt Planer, Jet Jointer, Full size Laguna drill press, router table, and too many hand tools to mention. I Would purchase something else if warranted. I am NOT very good w handtools.

Thanks
