    Disston No 4

I picked this up yesterday at the local Re-store. $10. 6x27.5” Nice straight plate and spine. Cuts really well and true, if I do my part. I doubt it will fit in my Langdon 1071A. What mitre box would accommodate such a large saw?

I forget the model number, but there was a Langdon-Acme made for the 6" saw plate. That saw probably even came with one, by the looks of the handle.

    Langdon made miter box sizes A, B, C, 1, 2, 2 2/2, and 3. The size 3 was for a 6” saw depth.
