A Few Basic Questions about Laser Etching

    Hello, Everyone.

I have an Epilog Zing machine, 30 Watt, and have been cutting various materials beautifully for two years. I am now trying for the first time to laser etch.

The drawing was done by a good friend who teaches this stuff, but I hate to bother him on the weekend.

Here are the problems I'm having and trying to solve:

    1) I am trying to play with the cloverleaf object and resizing it larger and smaller till I find the right size.
    2) I am trying to figure out how to center the cloverleaf and the number with one click in the program. Possible?
    3) I am trying to both etch the objects inside then simutaneously cut the outer shape.

    Thank You!
    Scott

If you select all 3 and go to Window then Align (or Shift+F7) It'll bring up the alignment window. You can center align it from there.

Debby, thanks so much for your response. I'll give it a go.

    Take Care,
    Scott
