Food Safe Finish for serving trays?

I'm looking for a food safe finish I can put on some serving trays. I very much appreciate any advice and suggestions!

    Thanks, Mike

Any modern clear finish is food safe once cured.

What Roger said...all finishes sold today are "food safe" when fully cured. That said, I personally am a fan of the T&T oil that Bob mentioned for all kinds of projects. It is a polymerized linseed oil that has no metallic driers so it's "safe" even before it cures.
