    Well done Brian. I'd give that lady a Starbucks drink certificate, or some other thank you, for her assistance. I might have tried adding a few drops of green dye to the amber to move the color more towards brown, but she did well, and so did you.

    That alchemy right there is what I admire so much of those like you that can understand what the effect will be by adding a touch of this or that. I asked the woman at Woodcraft how she got her knowledge on how to mix and match custom stains and she replied that although she has an arts degree that it was gained primarily thru experience.
