Beautiful table, Mark. Nice shaping work on the legs. Another wonderful opportunity to pull out the spokeshave!

Thanks Phil! In shaping the legs in the past I used rasps the majority of the time, but in this build I used spokeshaves more often - they are a joy to use and are so much smoother than rasps.

    Hi Mark,

Late to the party, but great work as usual. Great way to honor those two fine planks of cherry.

    Best,
    Chris

gorgeous as usual Mark! I love the simple, understated beauty of the matched grain pattern on the tabletop. Six chairs that table would take me waaay more than one winter – good luck! As always thanks for posting look forward to seeing more pictures of your work.

    Best, Mike

Thanks Mike. OK, maybe I should lower my expectations for chairs this winter. Maybe aim for 2 to start, then reassess.
