I need help with thought and logic

My grandson and I were goofing around and started playing Simon Says where he was Simon. He did a few commands that you would expect from a kindergartner and then he said,
“Do nothing.”


I’m still trying to get my head around that one.

Then the grandson climbs all over you and it changes to playing a different game.

That's easy - light a nice churchill cigar, and go sit on the deck on a nice evening. An hour later and you've done nothing.

If he didn't say "Simon says do nothing" it doesn't count and you can do everything.

I still remember being a kid playing Simon Says and other such games. "Do Nothing" is just another way to say "Freeze"
