    Bandsaw Help. 17" Griz

    I have a new to me G0513ANV. 17 inch. 2hp. Bandsaw. Before I had a 1980s delta 14 inch.

    I'm looking for tips and tricks for setting up this saw. I'm familiar with all the Snodgrass tutorials. I'm just looking for tips specific to this machine.

    My best tip is to follow the manual you got with the saw. Ignore other sources until you have a problem you can't resolve with the manual. And then reread the manual first.

    I have to agree with John.
    I've had a 17" Grizzly (slightly different model) for a few years now, and there is nothing specific about that saw that I've noticed. Part of the issue is that we all use them differently with different blades, etc. So no two experiences will be the same. It really is just a pretty basic saw, not too much to say.
