I'm looking to order 8 tall cabinet doors. They'll be 18" x 84", shaker style paint grade maple or equal to receive overlay hinges. Mid-rails are fine.

Tall doors like this can have many demons, perhaps not available. Has anyone had luck with a particular vendor with an order like this?

Would standard bedroom closet doors work since you appear to be painting them ???
