I normally use the regular 3m blue tape. I bought a roll of the 3m sharp lines 2093 tape earlier this year by accident, but used it to mask baseboard when spraying and backrolling the walls. When I sprayed, the 2093 tape separated from the baseboard all around the room where it met the wall. I ended up having to respray all the baseboard. The 2093 is just less sticky than the regular 3M tape and stuck fine on the 5/8" thick casing, but on the base the top edge was less than 1/4" and it didn't stick when it got wet from the paint. I have used the green and yellow frog tape before and never had it pull loose.

Since our walls are all orange peel, I usually just tape with the regular blue 3m tape but seal the edges. To seal up the tape, I go over the edge with either the paint I am trying to protect (so if masking base, I would use the trim paint) or a light coat of caulk. This stops the wall, or ceiling paint from bleeding under the edge of the tape due to the wall texture.
