So much to learn, so little time.....
I don't think so, these are really meant just to be displayed. They are pretty fragile. Even in the plans I buy for the models I make, the instructions clearly state these are not meant to be toys.
I have, however, probably made them at least 60 or 70 toy cars, boats and construction vehicles. My youngest is 9 now and is more interested in computers and often teaches me something new.
