Hi guys,
So my red/black chinese laser has had a little vacation time, because of RL stuff happening. And i went to start it tonight for a job, that I had just recieved and prepared.
(Let me just say, that no one has been near the machine during its "vacation")
However the machine was quite a bit more noisy than it usually is, when starting and it was like the Y axis motor was doing something fishy. And of course i didnt get the weird sounds on video. But suddenly my Y axis keys on the ruida display is not working. X axis is working fine.
Could it be a dead or dying Y axis motor?
Its not the first time, that it has done this.
I have checked all wiring and nothing shows deterioration or loose connections, so im a bit baffled here.
Update: Have tried switching the drivers from X to Y and still nothing. Both show power and green lights.
If anyone has any tips or advice/suggestions that I can try, I will happy to hear them
Thanx in advance.
