    Segment edge length setup with wedgie sled

    Not sure what improvement you have made. Using a caliper?

    A guess is that he marks the piece to be cut. The caliper is fixed to the sled, so just open jaws and mark wood, then cut.

    Making segmented sections and measuring each one individually to make the cut??? Surely that cannot be what this is used for.

    Maybe using the depth rod to measure length of cut. Maby a solution for misplaced tool.I unplug saw and measure from the edge of blade to the stop, missed placed tools, working on it
