    My first telecaster

These photos have been a long time coming, guitar has been finished for a few months now. This tele is a 3A quilted maple base with a 5A chocolate quilt lam top. Schaller locking tuners, classic tele bridge and fender nocaster pickups. Warmoth birdseye maple and pau ferro neck. Finish is BLO, shellac and water based lacquer.

While i was at it, because why not, I built a second, which went better than the first. Figured shedua base, gorgeous quilted lam top. All parts neck, nocaster pickups. Finished in BLO, shellac, and nitro lacquer.

I don’t actually play guitar, but I’m told they sound stellar!

If they sound as delicious as they look the audience will melt.

John, those are OUTSTANDING! If you have not already done so, I hope you'll also share them in the "Tel Home Depot" forum area at TDPRI. All the Tele fans will be swooning over that eye candy!
