What is this workbench accessory called?

    Hey guys.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am new to woodworking since Covid started, and I am learning slowly and incrementally. I just finished building a moxon vise, and it is great. But I need something for longer boards. What is the brass post + clamp in this photo called? He rests long boards on the brass piece, and the wood clamp holds it. Thanks!

The "clamp" is a crochet, made famous by Roubo's Plate 11 drawing. I'd call the brass piece a bench dog, but maybe there's a special term for one used on a bench's face like that.

I'm pretty sure Mike Siemsen covers those, and other methods, in his Viseless Workholding VIDEO

PS- Mike Stenson beat me, but I think the link is still useful.
