    looks like there is some discrepancy with the Varathane Gel stain colors. My pint doesn't have a number on it any place. And I haven't been able to find the No. 469 Gel Stain
    Picture of my Pint of Dark Walnut and sample wipe on wipe off. Pretty brown.

    Don't finish the insides of the drawers, the smell will never go away. If you feel you must finish the drawers, use a thinned coat of shellac and leave the drawers to air out for a week or more.
