It’s been near 100 degrees outside in Minneapolis this weekend. When that happens, this becomes my favorite power tool.

I agree. I have two of them in my shop one for the shop area and one for my office upstairs.
Totally agree. Also really nice when it is freezing outside.
Me too. I am always telling people the mini split is the most useful tool in the shop. I am in the Tampa bay area and prior to the mini my garage shop was almost unusable for about four months of the year. Just was not fun doing hobby and craft work while dripping sweat on everything. I did the install myself and including attic insulation spent about a 1/4 of what the guy in the Youtube link spent.
If I lived in a hotter place, I'd be all over one of those. We do have warm weather, but my shop stays quite cool. When I came home from work the other day it was 32*C outside & the shop was at a very comfortable 21*C. Then I drove my hot car in & the temperature shot up in a hurry.
Nice video Jason.
I may even put on in my temporary shop...the unit in my old shop was one of the best investments I made. Cost pennies to run and it was always comfortable, no matter what the weather or season.

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...
96 degrees here yesterday. With humidity about 1000%.
Temp in shop - 72 degrees. 50% humidity. Aaahhhhh!!!!!!
- After I ask a stranger if I can pet their dog and they say yes, I like to respond, "I'll keep that in mind" and walk off
- It's above my pay grade. Mongo only pawn in game of life.
