    Piano Hinge Cover?

This is more of a hardware question: but I built an outdoor TV cabinet with a hinged cover.

I’m curious what solutions there are to weatherproof the piano hinge holding the cover on? It doesn’t need to be waterproof, but I’d like to divert at least a little water away from the inside!

I was thinking of a “flex seal” tape, but I’m not sure how well it’ll hold up over time. (The cover is painted white, so anything white would blend in enough for my liking!)

Have you found a piano hinge that won't rust? In any case I'd go for fully waterproof. A coat of grease then a fastened down seal, belt and suspenders.

I found a stainless steel piano hinge: granted it was from Amazon…. Hopefully it actually is stainless.
