    Question regarding Sherwood precat lacquers...

A few months back I bought a can of precat lacquer from the SW industrial store, and have been pretty happy with it. The can is labeled "Sher-Wood 275", number T77F72. Today I was on their web site and noticed that this is nowhere to be found. The precat lacquer on their site is number T77F38, and is not labeled with the "275". Is this the same stuff? Anybody know what the difference is between these? Would appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks!
    -Jeff

The "38" in T77F38 designates the sheen(which is "Dull Rubbed"). The "275" appears to be a little different, but similar product. Call your SW rep.

Product information on SW lacquer products is difficult to almost impossible to find on the website.

Thanks for the feedback and the datasheets, Tony. So I reached out to SW and just heard back from them: "...The Sher-Wood 275 Precat Lacquer is a product specifically formulated for areas of the country with the strictest VOC laws and is not available globally."

btw, I'm located in northern California - hopefully this will help out others who run into this as well.
