I recently had a major problem with my stowable spray booth and decided to completely rebuild it. The old booth was able to stow away in use (its back and side wall were hinged to each other, and the exhaust was directed to a window via a tube of 6mil thick plastic taped together. The main problem was the exhaust tube, which would often tear apart at the seams due to the 5500 CFM explosion-proof fan. Secondary problems were: the too-small filter area (3 sq ft) and the limited light provided by the one explosion-proof LED light bar, which had to be removed every time I wanted to stow the booth against the outside wall, and remount whenever the booth was being set up again.

Rather than repost the photos and text, here's the link to the video I made that shows how I went about building the new spray booth.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers!
