Flea Market Finds / What is it?

I went to a local flea market this past weekend and found a box filled with dirty, somewhat rusty things. He said I could have the box and its contents for $5. I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough. When I got it home I did some minor cleaning and found these. Was thrilled to find the 10-12 Crescent wrench.

The saw looked interesting but I do not know what it is and what it is for. The blade is 11" and is .05" thick. Can anyone help me with this?

5 bucks? You’re killing me. The tool in question looks like a hay knife but way too small.

Really, especially if all the hammers were in the box.

    Thanks.

Yes, all the hammers shown were in the box.

I agree with Jim that looks like a mighty small hayknife, and I got nothing else. The pointing trowels look to be forged rather than stamped and spot welded, I would not be in a hurry to let those go. You definitely scored on hammers alone. I don't know much about floats, but with the wooden handle it is probably better made than the new stuff.

    Mike,

Excellent thought! I never would have guessed that. <grins>

    To all,
Thanks for all of your help. I was even thinking it might be some sort of sod cutter, that is until the cake knife idea came.

Close, I actually think it's a cake decorating tool. you spin the cake and it makes nice ridges around the edge.

Cuts insulation rolls. Back when they also used thick sheets of Styrofoam Boards....

Looks like it would cut sod but I'd like a longer handle.
