    Dewalt cordless 7 1/4 battery?

    All,
Had a bit of luck at an auction. Won a Dewalt 7 1/4 cordless sliding miter saw. The batteries were in other lots I was not interested in for the price. Thinking about going with a 6.0 but thought I would check in here to get some thoughts. My dad brought over his 5.0 and it seemed fine as well.

    What is the best approach?

    Thanks for your help!
    Chris

Battery Ah rating choice is dependent on how many cuts you want to make before you have to recharge.

That's a neat little saw. Just used mine to trim out a bathroom, sure beats lugging around a 150# SCMS and stand for little jobs. I have switched to pretty much all FlexVolts. The 6ah versions are the normal battery in that saw, but any will fit. FlexVolts have proven to be the best battery in my arsenal, by a sizable margin.
