    FS - 7" Hinsdale Drawknife

This drawknife has solid handles, an excellent laminated blade, and it is sharp. I have used it in my chair work and it functions very well. The handles are tweaked to bevel down - my preferred orientation.

Hinsdale Manufacturing Company was started in 1919 and was a prominent manufacturer of tools in the 1930s and 40s. They apparently were pioneers in using chrome-nickel alloy steel. http://alloy-artifacts.org/hinsdale-hindsight.html

6-7" drawknives are hard to find, particularly good ones. Comes with my "custom blade guard!" $60, plus shipping. Payment by personal check. If you aren't happy with it, pay the shipping back to me and I will refund your purchase price.
