Jessem Mast R Lift Excell II hardware piece question

    Hi all,

Recently put together the ultimate excel package by Jessem which includes the Mast R Lift Excel II and I was left with one piece remaining that I cannot identify where it goes - I'll try getting ahold of their tech support this week but figured I would post here in case somebody recognizes it. I checked and re-checked the install manual and did not see it referenced anywhere - the piece was included in a sealed plastic bag of hardware to assemble. Attached pic.

    Thank you.

I think this is a little pin that screws in to one of the holes around the ring thats around the red bit plate insert. I’ve seen people use them when routing things when using a bearing bit. I guess it helps control the piece but I never use it.

It is the starting pin that fits the threaded holes in the base for routing with a bearing guided bit.

Did it take long for you to get your table? I've had one on back order for a few months and am patiently waiting.
