    Yoga class makes me feel like a total stud, mostly because I'm about as flexible as a 2x4.
    "Design"? Possibly. "Intelligent"? Sure doesn't look like it from this angle.

    Not ... I was there in the 70's when they tried this. As I understand it the theory was that it would skim over the snow, well it kinda did but the snow gets hard and bumpy and there's pressure ridges that made for a rough, noisy and cold ride.

    The driver got the worst of it

    maybe they were just ahead of their time regarding global warming

    How old is that picture?!? They had working commercial hovercraft in the 1960s...

    I'm not sure how flexible a hovercrafts skirts would be at very low temps.
