    Wood hunting day

    Took the day off today to spend some time at one of our local sawmills. They were processing hickory so that was the score for the day. And a little white oak with some interesting figure. $20 for a truckload and a fun day of chainsawing and making blanks.

    Ain't that the beauty of it. Half my firewood ends up in the shop

    If you are near Shenandoah Valley in VA, you could come by and pick that up and more for no charge.
    Local turners club is basically shut down due to Covid19...
