Looks great! Remind us of the plans for the flooring in that echo chamber?

Just concrete with rubber mats at "long-stand" locations. I have found in other shops that with the amount of machines and tables along with everything on the walls and hanging from the ceiling that the echo effect is a non-issue. However, this space is double anything I have had before so we shall see. It may be that one of my first projects will be a couple of bass traps to fly from the ceiling ;-)

I was being somewhat tongue in cheek relative to the "echo chamber" comment. That said, I'm already missing the acoustic ceiling that I had in the old shop in my current gara...err....temporary shop. There's a noticeable higher level of noise. I'm already thinking about what I want to do when I put up my building relative to that. It's the mids to highs that bounce around, BTW...bass is non-directional which is why you can put a sub-woofer nearly anywhere in a room and not know where it's coming from.

We have concrete. Dust shed and side door access.

I was going to go with gravel for the access and side door landing area. I realized that with grand kids I would be sweeping gravel back into this area . . . forever. Bit the bullet and had it poured.

I should be able to crank these out pretty quick.

    These are the Simpson anchors
    New Shop (299).jpg
I'll use them something like so.
    New Shop (298).jpg . New Shop (297).jpg
The 'horseshoe' looking affair is 1-1/2" x 28ga steel strapping that I will fabricate for my purpose. I plan for 3 or more pairs of anchor points per section. This is 50 times the capacity for the weight involved but, I need to factor in sequential failures. Losing a whole run of pipe due to a single anchor failure would be embarrassing. Where I can hit solid wood I will use lag screws.

The plan calls for about 16 of these. I made 33. This will handle anywhere that I feel I need an extra bit of support. Also, they will be ready to go should I add or change a branch in the future.

    Looking good Glenn.

FWIW I used some of these hangers for 4" piping where I had a drop coming down next to a wall. They were relatively inexpensive, adjustable, and can be easily removed if needed.
