We live in an area of near constant breeze and regular pergola-lifting winds. If I have done the math right the vents should do the trick. There is a weird-science to attic ventilation. My research has revealed one constant; those who have scientifically sound solutions are nearly ALL correct despite their differences . Like I used to drum into my staff . . . there's more than one way to skin the cat. Techy folks can be highly opinionated and narrowly focused. It was a constant 'care and feeding' exercise to get them to see that out of 7 ways to do something 5 CAN be equally correct.

Thanks for documenting this project. I hope to be breaking ground on my next home and workshop in two years. I have random thoughts bouncing around in my head for the workshop. Sooooo many things to consider. I am taking notes.......

Too true Ken. At the end of the day I am tired and sore but sore in a very good way.

What's your plan for the ceiling? What type of lights?
Drywall painted bright white. DC duct will be mounted very close to the ceiling. LED shop lights will hang just below this level; about 7" from the ceiling.
I am still doing lots of stuff that doesn't show but, wanted to share how easily the sawed control joints clean up with the sealer in place.

They are only about 1/16" deep but still gather the fine spoil from the messy job site.

It's a lot of work but there's a certain amount of satisfaction as you check off one little detail after another! You are making good progress my friend! Keep at it!

So much to learn, so little time.....
Out of curiosity, what did you go for for LED lights, color temp, CRI, etc... ?
Looking better and better by the day, Glenn. Boatload of work.
