If you rent an airless sprayer rig, find out what type it is, and buy a new tip for it. I used to rent them, until I bought one in the mid '80's. The tips were always worn out in the rental units. They will still spray paint, with a worn out tip, but can have all sorts of trouble with a uniform fan. It would be worth buying some tip extensions too, so you don't even have to have a ladder in the building.

I have most of the insulation in the DC shed. Hope to finish the insulation and wall board (thin hardboard or something like it) tomorrow.

You can buy a airless sprayer from harbor freight for less than two days rental on a sprayer
very easy to use if you are used to spraying
probably going to back roll everything you spray anyway

Walking around after the insulation went in was a different experience than the echoing shell it once was. Being able to run the AC was sure a perk. Now with the drywall in it has another feel again. At this point I just have to keep looking at the punch list and keep knocking 'em down. Sooner than I think I will be installing outlets and lights ;-)

Some of the progress on the DC shed. Insulation (for sound deadening) is in and most of the wall board is up. I was just going to use 1/8" hardboard like I did for a couple other small buildings in the area. I then started picturing myself looking for something I dropped or wanting to do maintenance in the shed and thought white walls would be smart. I found a white glossy finished 1/8" hardboard product at Lowe's.

I did some on the fly figuring (in 100 degree heat) and figured a few extra bucks was worth not having to paint them. I am not going for a magazine layout in this shed, I just want some thing to protect the insulation while I am slamming around in there on disco night. Seriously though, I poked a couple tears in the insulation already while moving around in the close quarters and I am pretty careful.

A strip of 1/4 round and some dabs of white caulk and I'll be happy. You may notice the 8' panels in the 9' to 10' structure. The upper area is just going to be exposed building wrap. Even I would have to try to poke holes in things up there

Almost done with the drywall. A little more touch up and some minor sanding and I should be ready for paint.

Dug out the stash of DC parts that has been wrapped in a tarp next to one of the outbuildings for a couple of years.

And yeah. Drywall taping and mudding. Blech...
