    Companies like Blastgate Co and others (maybe even your supplier) can make an adapter for the inlet. You specific the exact ID or OD you want and they will manipulate by stretching or compaction to get both ends to the sizes you need. You need to be exact on your measurements. I had to do this for both the inlet to the SDD that's in my temporary shop as well as for the port on the drum sander.

    Thanks Jim and Phillip. I'll contact blastgate and see what they can come up with for me.

    Any thoughts on the gasketed spiral pipe fittings? I don't want to install and paint with sealant only to find out they were incorrect.

    I"m honestly not familiar with those particular types of fittings, but I'm guessing that it gives you some benefits like with clamp-together. Use a sealant that's removable, such as clear silicone caulk rather than something "more permanent" if you're concerned.
