    Desktop Organizer, March version

Of the one Paul Sellers made....Mine is out of scraps of Ash.
    March Project Post, opened up.JPG
Counting the lid, it is 12" long/wide...
    March Project Post, end view.JPG
Sides are 6-7/8" wide, by 5-1/2" tall, counting the 1/2" thick lid..
    March Project Post, top view.JPG
Lid is a glued up panel...the corners were rounded, and there is a finger lift out in front...
    March Project Post, corner view.JPG
Was trying to get the grain to flow around the box...came close...
    Corner joints are through dovetails...
March Project Post, hinge side view.JPG
Hinges are brass, from Hobby Lobby. Knobs on the drawer have tenons that are glued into the drawer front.
    March Project Post, closed up.JPG
This was merely a way to use up left over scraps from another project....rather than just burn them.

    Thanks for looking in

Nice! I made that project last year. I wish I would have increased the number of dovetails like you did. I like the knobs too. I used a full width drawer pull. I keep sharpening stuff in mine.
