Same here. No problems so far. But i do have a dedicated can opener.

Derek, if at the end of my journey as a woodworker I can produce pieces half as fine as yours I will consider it an effort well rewarded

I find it awesome that we as woodworkers can fill three pages of responses on screwdrivers for a plane. A very special breed we are indeed. This is not meant to mean it shouldn’t be...just that I’ve enjoyed the input we collectively give on such matters.

No I did not - and thank you for the tip. I tried a bunch of spaces and a period but no return. I wonder how many of today's kids know what and why a return is?

Chapman driver sets are used by toolmakers alot. Their hex key set with the ratcheting handle is the perfect tool for working in tight places. Their products are very good quality.

Regarding Chapman sets, they impressed me to the point of purchasing three sets and giving two of them to friends.

Also have a set of "Perfection" handled screwdrivers....I seem to recall those are still being made and sold?

I, too, was put off by the $$$ of the L-N screw drivers. But I do have a collection of L-N planes, and find regular screwdrivers are messing with the beauty of the L-N tools.
When complaining to Better-Half, she told me to break down and buy them with the admonition 'You have not been driving, vacationing, or eating out for a year. So we are not spending much. Go do it'
    And I did!
Very happy with the beautiful tools and addition to my L-N collection.

Yeah, but I just spent on a set of LA jack, no. 4, no. 8 and block plane. I can’t make that argument. My significant Other thinks I’m insane...

There has never seemed a good reason to argue against that point with anyone.
