Am I missing something about private messages

Hi Everyone...I'm as new as it gets but learning. As a contributor, I have tried twice now to send PM to two separate members ( just didn't see the need to start a new thread as my question relates back to one of their much earlier posts ) but I cannot find those PM's in my " sent " and to look for replies. Does that mean I never sent them? I did click the " send "... maybe i need to subscribe to those threads? Need help from all the Pro's out there

Look under general settings and make sure you have "save a copy of sent messages" ticked. While you're there, check that all the other message related setting make sense.
